Dear Hawthorne Elementary Families,

As we officially close out another incredible school year, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to our entire community. Thank you for your partnership, your dedication, and your unwavering support of our students.  In this transition to Hawthorne, your partnership and support have been both valued and appreciated.  

Now that summer is officially here, my sincerest hope is that you and your loved ones enjoy an abundance of quality time together. Whether you are traveling, exploring the outdoors, or simply enjoying quiet mornings at home, these moments of connection are invaluable. Use this time to rest, recharge, and celebrate all the hard work your children have put in over the last ten months.

Looking ahead, I am bursting with excitement for what the coming school year has in store for Hawthorne Elementary! Our team is already planning an amazing lineup of programs, engaging events, and enriching activities that will bring our community even closer together.

As an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, we remain deeply committed to nurturing the whole child. Next year, we look forward to seeing our students make incredible strides, not just academically, but as global citizens. We are filled with optimism about the progress they will make as they embody the critical values of the IB Learner Profile, growing in empathy, curiosity, open-mindedness, and integrity.

Summer Preparation & Important Dates:

Please rest assured that while our hallways may be quiet right now, Hawthorne is still buzzing with activity. Our dedicated team is working hard all summer long to refresh, prepare, and perfect our campus so it is bright, welcoming, and ready for our students' return.

• First Day of School: Wednesday, August 5th

• Back-to-School Night: Thursday, August 13th
