The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a non-profit organization that offers four rigorous and high-quality educational programs for students ages 3 to 19 around the world. Founded in 1968, the IB has grown significantly and is now established in more than 5,700 schools across 159 countries.

We strive to support our students in becoming compassionate, lifelong learners who are prepared to grow academically and positively contribute to the world around them.

Becoming an IB World School is a rigorous process that typically takes two or more years. Once authorized, schools are regularly evaluated by the IB to ensure they continue to meet the organization’s high academic and curricular standards. Teachers must complete specialized IB training before becoming IB educators and continue participating in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest IB curriculum and instructional practices.
